About Us

The Embroidery Store, or TES, was founded in Southern California in 2006 by Lee Cottone. Lee started TES from the ground up taking his knowledge and experience from corporate America to established his own business. Lee has since grown TES into a thriving company that produces high quality garments that give our clients the opportunity to make great impressions and create even better reputations. He wanted to create a business that was a staple in its own right. It even began with the name as Lee says,

 

“When you need to go get groceries where do you go? The Grocery Store. When you’re looking for quick snacks where do you go? The Convenience Store. I wanted to be one of those ‘stores.’ So where do you go when you need to get embroidery done? The Embroidery Store.”

 

TES strives to stand above the rest in order to give our customers an excellent experience throughout the entire embroidery process. We do this a few ways including our 24 Hour Rule, Double Check, and our Ship by Employee option as well.  All of these programs are designed with our clients and their needs in mind.

 

Our 24 Hour Rule is a simple program where unlike most embroidery stores, we check in all deliveries with in 24 hours of their arrival. Double Check is what we do whenever we complete an order. It is looked over by our production team and then a second time by our customer service team to guarantee quality control. Lastly our ship by employee program is specifically designed with our clients in mind, especially those with larger uniform orders. We will pack their orders by the individual employees receiving them.

Our Team

Lee Cottone - President/ Founder

Lee Cottone, founder and President of The Embroidery Store (TES), began his career in the restaurant uniform laundry business as a route driver delivering uniforms to various companies all over Southern California. Lee continued to move up as a district manager and finally a sales account manager for distributing uniforms.

 

With his experience he transitioned from delivering, to manufacturing, and to decorating for one of the top medical uniform distributors. In 2006 with this experience under his belt Lee opened the now commercial contract embroidery store, The Embroidery Store, or TES.

 

As The Embroidery Store (TES) continued to grow we expanded what we are able to offer from direct embroidery logos, monograms and attaching patches to adding screen printing, heat transfer, and direct garment printing.

Chris Bellamy - Account Manager

Chris Bellamy is an Account Manager at The Embroidery Store.   Chris has over 15 years of customer service experience and 10 years plus managing accounts.  This combination of experiences has given Chris the ability to handle any and all concerns with professionalism and urgency.  When Chris is not working with his large accounts, he can be seen across southern California  hiking and taking photos as an amateur photographer.

Isamar Vielma - Shipping Manager

Isamar Vielma is the Shipping Manager and started working at TES in June 2017 and was promoted to Shipping Manager shortly after her arrival.

Isamar has over 5 years of experience working in shipping from various companies and brought her talent and organizational skills to TES. She has helped us increase our production, shipping accuracy, and timeliness. Isamar continues to lead her team in stride to do exactly this. On a personal level she not only has great business acumen, but also the focus, determination and drive needed to get results.

Isamar has increased our shipping departments excellent record another 25% in accuracy and timeliness. She continues to grow these numbers at a rapid pace, ensuring our customers are receiving their orders correctly and promptly. As a true team worker she can build strong relationships in order to drive individual performance. Her passion to make sure that every area of the warehouse runs like clockwork will always ensure that customers receive the right product, in the right place, at the right time.

 

On her free time, Isamar enjoys outdoor activities and doing new trails every time with her Siberian husky. She also loves going to the beach on the weekends with friends and relaxing. When she’s off work you can find her at the gym or long walks and staying active.

Benjamin Solano Nieto - Production Manager

Benjamin has been our production for over a year now, but he doesn't lack experience.   He has been working in the industry as a embroidery manager for over 14 years.  He has been described by the production team " as a responsible, easy to work with, communicative and knowledgeable leader".    In his free time he enjoys playing soccer, watching movies, and spending time with his daughter.
